Hello Lady golfers,

Welcome to CWGA 2023, celebrating our 69th Season. I hope this email finds everyone getting ready for a fun golf season.
The Board has created a new website (CWGAohio.org), which will inform you about the organization as well as creating an easy way to join and keep abreast of all the news and results. You are able to join or renew your membership on line, as well as directives on your payment method of choice.
Additionally, there is a section covering the scheduled courses for the season as well as directions to each golf course and the green fees for each course. If you need to cancel for one of the monthly events (rounds), you are able to do this on the website. Just remember to cancel one (1) week in advance, by Friday evening so that you are not required to pay the green fees for that event.
Last season, the membership voted to increase the fee to $45. The Board felt that this was necessary to enhance the payouts as well as the cost of opening day and closing meetings.
A listing of all members will be available soon and updated periodically. The rules of play for CWGA will also be posted to the site. Pairings for the upcoming month's round will be posted prior to the date of the round.
The Board is exploring a different recording method for scoring and may have it in place at some point during the season. As well as, creating a sponsor committee that will have tools necessary to help increase our charity donations, the yearly costs of our website and increasing banquet costs.
As we did last season, you are encouraged to recruit your friends and associates to join us in order to grow the organization to a size that will allow us to book additional courses for our monthly events. Remember you will be eligible for a $5 referral for each new member.
